Chicago Mac boat race...

if you are free tomorrow come down to Navy Pier and watch the boats parade by (10am - 1PM) before they head out on the 105th Chicago to Mackinac Island Race.

300 + boats head north tomorrow racing non stop 333 miles to Mackinac Island.

well that was a little slow...

getting it back to bikes, I rode around the Island on a rental bike. Always a fun time.

That's one of the reasons people sail in the race despite the possibility of being eaten alive by flies! Looks like there was some wind then.
