Seeking information of the "Bicycle Film Festival" in Chicago this summer.
The last two years I saw no films, but came to the street party after and thought it was a major summer highlight, with bike music, build offs, polo, and hours of BMX showoffs.

This year here though I've heard nothing about it, and I monitor Chicago events feeds closely. Nothing shows on TCL calendar, and the main website says "TBD" for Chicago (I've messaged the BFF main email): http://www.bicyclefilmfestival.com/chicago/

I hear Andrew Hala facilitated (last year?), I've messaged him on FB: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1906234

WestTown heavily participated last year, with a great bike repair technician competition.  I've messaged Alex: http://www.thechainlink.org/profile/AlexWilson

Above follow-ups aside, I wanted to put it out there right away, in case it's as soon as this weekend. Anyone know?  Even without movies, it would be awesome to do some version of the streetparty. Anyone????

Yeah, I was devastated that I missed it last year!

What comes before Part B?.... PAARRRTTTAYYYYY!!!

I'm down.
Last year was a total blast, and thank you all for coming out and enjoying!

I'm actually not producing the festival this year. Through a friend I sent the founding director some thoughts on people in Chicago who may be interested in hosting it. However, I heard that apparently someone else had been found.

Andrew, have you heard anything back from the NYC office? They're usually in a constant rush, so if you didn't get anything I'd definitely suggest tossing them another e-mail!
