Checking out Robbie Ventura Gran Fondo Route in Blue Mound, Wisonsin

Anyone interested in checking out this route.  Apparently it would have been used for the Olympics, had it been in Chicago.  I need to get some good rides in for a long ride I am doing in August.  This looks like a cool and challenging course.  It's something like 22.9 miles. Not bad. I would do a few loops if you wanted to get in some distance.

I've ridden in that area before in May. Best area around if you're into climbing. I wouldn't mind checking it out again.
Yes.  I need to get some climbs in.  Can you go on a weekday?

Pretty much the best riding around for 300 miles. I've ridden and raced up there a bunch and it's always a treat. The climb up to Blue Mounds is no joke.

Robbie V. puts on a good show -- you won't be disappointed.

I have done several cenuries in that area, as well as a team training camp there this spring, lots of great roads and climbs. If you would like I can send you some of my garmin reports for them. Just shoot me a message
