Chainlink Tag Lines?

Since The Chainlink's inception, we've used the description below to explain with The Chainlink is with small variations like Chicago vs. Chicagoland: The Chainlink is the one-stop Chicagoland resource for connecting cyclists to share info on bikes, routes, rides, and events.

But what about a tagline?

Here are are two suggestions I like, born out of many conversations about how exactly to explain what The Chainlink is....

By The Cyclist. For The Cyclist.

Connecting Good People - Who Happen To Ride A Bike - In and Around Chicago (inspired by Lee Diamond)

I would do something short and definitive like:

"Chicago's Cyclist Community"

Or

"The Online Hub of Chicagoland Cyclists"

I add these point to consider.

a. It covers art, literature, poetry, fun and music.

so including "culture" makes sense.

b. We are not involved with this not for some passive or mindless reason.

So adding a reason more than just sharing-- maybe elevating and/or strengthening.

c. The word "bikes" has to go. we are 1, 2, 3,and 4 wheelers

So it is: cycling, cyclist

d We have no store front to: one-stop at and yet I stop here many times

So somehow showing that this is an online internet enterprise would be clear.

I suggest:

Chicago-land's premiere online resource by cyclist for cycling.

Chicago-land's premiere online resource connecting to cycling culture.

An online resource where cyclist drive Chicago-Land's cycling scene.

Chicago cyclist's online protected lane for cycling.

A) Some of these seem very focus-groupish, It really should be a tad obscure, a bike part or tool, something non-cyclists don't know.

B) It could rotate, make it a bit of daily haiku depending on the season / holiday. Have it change once a week or monthly. A quote on a birthday. You get the drift.

"For the times when your bike is locked up" or "For when your not riding"
