OK, well, sort of . . . 2 of us (MIchelle S and myself) happen to be performing with the Chicago Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra tomorrow (Sunday) and the program is pretty tasty:
Sunday, February 26, 2012 - 3pm
Wagner: Tristan und Isolde: Prelude and Liebestod
Beethoven: Romance No. 2 in F Major
Xing Quan, Violin
Sibelius: Finlandia
Prokofiev: Romeo and Juliet
The concert takes place at the Meritt School of Music, 38 S. Peoria. Tickets available at the door (Adults: $15, Students and Seniors: $10)-- a hair pricey for a community orchestra but the quality is significantly better than any other community orch. I know of in Chicago.
So don't say nobody invited you . . .
