I would like to celebrate Bicycle day, April 19th, a formidable day in consciousness and mind manifesting history!
For those who are not familiar, April 19th, 1943 is the first day that a human experienced LSD.

“On this day in 1943 Albert Hofmann performed the first self-experiment to determine the true effects of LSD. The bicycle ride home proved to
Hofmann that he had indeed made a significant discovery of a mind
manifesting substance with extraordinary potency.” Wiki

My idea is simply to commemorate and celebrate both the day and LSD generally.
(which I will not go into praise of here; for those who have tried it, the experience speaks for itself.)

I think this day should be celebrated by psychonaughts, and consciousness seekers everywhere. The more cities participate the better! Take the fliers which I have attached, make them your own, and
ride!
One is for posting up, the other for attaching in bike's hand breaks, use at your own convenience

There is no pressure to trip while riding, I do not plan to, but you can celebrate any way you'd like! :) (just stay safe)

Really, print some fliers, spread the word! :)
Sounds great! Hope to make it there. Maybe you should post this in the calendar?
Definitely will do :)

Hey, pardon some of the note I sent, I did not see the flyer for the day. I can help anyone who needs to be helped as I am quite experienced in all this. I can also make sure everyone stays safe and feels secure. Something I really think is pretty cool. 'You cannot control the Universe, only let it guide you' - Cutify

Just realized that this link only works if you are logged into Facebook.
And just in case it doesn't, the group is called "Critical Mass bike ride for Bicycle day"

From the critical mass web info, I concluded that its not necessary to plan a route because a large group will direct themselves anyway.
Or that others would propose routs and we would go somewhere along there or where ever the spirit takes us....

It would be cool to bike down to the water, especially for those who will be tripping, but as I've only lived in Chicago for a little over half a year, and don't feel like I know the best possible route; I couldn't decide on anything

Does anybody have anything in mind? I'd like the ride to be somewhat of a statement to mass close mindedness and to those who fear supporting something so .. nice lol
But again, I do not yet know Chicago well enough to plan a route that would work well.

Help?
by the bye i'm going down to Logan sq right now to post fliers, just thought id mention it
