Cargo trailer recommendations

I am thinking about getting a cargo trailer for trips to the grocery store/hardware store and etc. (I buy a lot of stuff from the hardware store).  Does anyone have any recommendations?  I don't have any experience with these, but this one seems like it's a descent size and can hold some weight. (not that I will or will not buy it from amazon....I'm just trying to get an idea of what I want and need)

I like this trailer a lot, it is very flexible depending on what bag you use. It is also great because it unclips in a second from your seatpost and becomes a cart you can shop in the store with. Lastly it folds into a really small form factor as to not take up much space at home,

Check out West Town Bikes. What they don't have lying around they can build. Also look online at Bikes At Work, though with their current design there might still be an issue with very heavy weight and the linkage from trailer to bike. The old ones were better, maybe. These might be too big for a few grocery bags.

Most other commercial trailers aren't that great, I think, but it depends on how much you want to move and how much it weighs. 

What about a longtail or a cargo bike?

The one on Amazon is junk and will not hold any weight.  You want a decent trailer get ready to spend $300 plus.  Burley makes nice ones as does Bikes At Work.  As mentioned West Town does make them; I have one of theirs and it is GREAT.

check out http://www.quik-pak.com/.  I've had this one for a few years and its worked well for me.  I use it weekly, and its been on a few multi-day trips, heavily loaded.  Its water-proof and durable.

They're a small outfit, so you may need to contact them directly to find a dealer.  I ordered mine from a web shop, but the old link no longer works.

I think Sarah was implying that this shop is run by humans whereas all other bike shops are run by something other than humans.
