Hahahaha! Thanks for the link. I've actually used half that stuff (Betamax? Check. PC w/ Pentium II? That was an upgrade from my 386DX40.). I was cleaning up my office late last week and nearly threw out my Palm Pilot Professional (w/ 2MB Upgrade!), decided to display it on a shelf in its Novatel CPDP modem instead. Now our IT guys are arguing over who gets it . . .

I find it amusing your post title suggests geeks and older generations are mutually exclusive. I imagine Steve Wozniak, Bill Joy, William Stallings, Steve Jobs, Linus Torvalds...old guys like these couldnt *possibly* be geeks, no way.
