The Forest Preserve District of Cook County received $3.6 million from the Illinois Transportation Enhancements Program on Wednesday, paying for pavement from Rte. 83 by Lemont to 86th Avenue in Palos Park. Alsip, Palos Heights, and Palos Park received construction funding a year ago—construction bids will be let this spring!

We're grateful to Governor Quinn, the FPD of Cook County, and Senator Durbin and Congressman Lipinski for supporting the Cal-Sag Trail! All of you are invited to the ribbon cutting this fall, and we look forward to working with you on connecting to the east!
