Buying A Bike: Suggestions?

Hey everyone, I will be graduating in May and looking for a new bike. I need something with speed, light frame, and cute lol. I love anything with awesome designs on them and has some character to it. I will be shopping in Chicago so can people recommend places and styles? I currently have a del mar cruiser on my campus but it will not be ideal for me to use once I move back to the city, the frame is too heavy and I need handle brakes as well.

I like to think our circus days are at least partially over at working bikes. By being open four consecutive days a week (instead of two) and fully overhauling bikes we've cut down on mad dash for bikes we used to be known for. At the moment we have about 150 bikes on the floor, the average price is probably about $180 or so. Everything has a warranty and many bikes have new tires + grips. I'd venture a guess that something that fits Amber's dreams might cost a little bit more. Either way you can hang out and ride as many bikes as you want.
