Broadening the power base of the Wisconsin Bike Fed - for good of WI and IL bikers!

Though Chainlink is Chicago-based, I know a lot members are tuned into biking in Wisconsin.

I’m from Oak Park, living now in Eagle River,WI, and running to be on the board of the Wisconsin Bike Federation. I’d like your vote or at least your help.

For the last six years, I’ve been an officer of a nonprofit group building a family-friendly bike trail system for the Eagle River, WI, area, and I want to help that area have a better connection to the Bike Fed. The photo is me on one of the 2 bridges of the new trail section that our nonprofit, Great Headwaters Trails, helped build this summer. (More info on that at http://ghtrails.org).

Eagle River is only about 20 minutes from the U.P. Many of the Bike Fed's members and board members are from the lower 2/3 of Wisconsin. One reason I want to a board member is to get more of a Bike Fed connection to the northern part of the state.
If you can help me become a Bike Fed board member I’d appreciate it.

You need to be a member of the Bike Fed to vote, and I know that may not include a number of you. If that is the case with you, disregard this, or please pass my request on to anyone you know who might be a Bike Fed member.

Whether or not you live in Wisconsin, you can become a member for $25, and if you want to do that, just go to http://www.bfw.org/20…/…/17/the-2015-board-election-is-open/
Elections end on Nov. 30.

Thanks for taking time to read this. Thanks for your help!
