Hope to see plenty of car-freedom activists Wednesday night. We will hear from Jason Rothstein, author of
Carless in Chicago and Julie Dworkin, a key force behind Chicago's
Albany Street Home Zone Project. Jason gives us tools for driving less and/or convincing others to do the same; Julie gives us tools for improving conditions for people on foot, bike, board. . . .or just crossing the street to borrow a cup of sugar from a neighbor.
It's also a chance to exchange information about and recruit people for projects, such as
World Car-Free Day, maybe a report card on
Chicago's Bike 2015 plan, maybe some whimsical actions that are best talked about face to face. . . what are you working on or seek collaborators for?

Break The Gridlock's
unHappy Hour is a bimonthly event to bring together individuals
interested in Break The Gridlock's mission of reducing automobile
dependency. We are unhappy with the state of Chicago's transportation
networks, but optimistic that we can make them better!
