Break the Gridlock's UnHappy Hour--Wed night

Hope to see plenty of car-freedom activists Wednesday night. We will hear from Jason Rothstein, author of Carless in Chicago and Julie Dworkin, a key force behind Chicago's Albany Street Home Zone Project. Jason gives us tools for driving less and/or convincing others to do the same; Julie gives us tools for improving conditions for people on foot, bike, board. . . .or just crossing the street to borrow a cup of sugar from a neighbor.

It's also a chance to exchange information about and recruit people for projects, such as World Car-Free Day, maybe a report card on Chicago's Bike 2015 plan, maybe some whimsical actions that are best talked about face to face. . . what are you working on or seek collaborators for?

interested in Break The Gridlock's mission of reducing automobile
dependency. We are unhappy with the state of Chicago's transportation
networks, but optimistic that we can make them better!

Is there parking around there?

I believe there are bike racks out front and also down the sidewalk, plus plenty of signs to lock to in a pinch. Not sure about spots for 4 wheels though.
