BRAT 2011

So you've all ridden the RAGBRAI, but have you done the BRAT???

The Bicycle Ride Across Tennessee is coming up in a couple of weeks. Is anyone from around here going? If so, how the heck are you getting there?

There is a map on the BRAT website showing where registered cyclists are coming from, and it looks like we've got a couple from Chicago suburbs, but noone from the city yet. (Until today, I just registered.)

Has anyone else on here done this ride before?

I did BRAT a few years back. It was in the eastern part of TN, south of WV, in the smokey mountains. Pretty challenging for us flat landers.

One night they ran out of food but for the most part it was well run and fun. Lots of dogs. --not all chained up ---but all barking
