Biking to Paw Paw Woods Nature Preserve

I'm thinking about biking to Paw Paw Woods this weekend.

I would like to bike there and then either take Metra back from LaGrange with beers, of course or the Orange Line back from Midway.

Lakeview to Paw Paw

What I'm not sure about is the safety of the neighborhoods I might be biking through. How is biking from Midway to Willow Springs or from Bridgeport to Willow Springs or from LaGrange to Willow Springs?

I believe this weekend is a Metra blackout date.

I ride from Oak Park to Willow Springs often, and Jared's route is recommended.

Since you're starting on the north side, I'd recommend going west first, then south. Like this, except turn south on Wolf Rd. when you reach it and take that down.
