2 people in recent days told me their bikes were stolen. California near Blue line.

Division Street my bike was locked outside while I did laundry and got dinner and drinks, as well as a few others missing wheels, seats... I passed while walking home.

And if anyone tries to sell you a slightly used  700x23 all white front rim with a Ribmo tire it's probably mine.

Sorry about your loss, but thanks for posting this Mike. I cannot convince my wife that locking up both wheels is necessary. Perhaps this photo will help me make the case.

I'm locking both wheels if it's not in site.

Everyone should lock their front wheel if leaving their bike for more than half an hour. Preferably with another U-Lock.

I do that old skool thing of taking off the front wheel and u-locking it with the frame and rear wheel.

I do the same thing. Though, it's sometimes a pain in the ass since I have fenders.

Quick release makes it easy, but I have to take care on my fenderbike because sometimes the bottom of the fender will rest on the pavement when there's no wheel.  I'm concerned about the fender stay bending but it hasn't happened (yet).
