Bike Stolen - Any suggestions? Have you seen this ride around town?

Feeling pretty foolish... any assistance or tips are appreciated.

My commuter bike was stolen from my back yard this morning. I discovered it around 7:45 AM en rte to work. This was my commuter bike which I might have built up a little too "nicely." And foolishly left in my porch attached to a wooden beam. Again, extremely foolish. If anyone on this forum sees the bike around -- please do MSG me immediately and/or contact the Police.

The details are as follows:

This bike is a vintage Raleigh Grand Prix Mixte from the early 1980s era, light steel chromoly frame (model 502) that I updated with 7-gear index shifting and accessories.

The shifting is strange in that the index shifter for the rear derailleur is on the left side of the quill. I also removed all of the decals from the bike save the make marker.
Saddle:Honey Brooks flyer S Saddle
Tires: 27" Schwalbe Greenguard Gatorskin wheels
Gears: Shimano MF-TZ20 Tourney Freewheel (14-28T 6 Speed)
Brake Pads: Kool Stop MTN Mountain Bicycle Brake Pads (Threaded, Black & Salmon)
Handlebar: Velo Orange Porteur handlebars
Quill: 70 mm Nitto technomic
Accessories: Crane Suzu Lever Strike brass bell, bottle rack

'Tis the season. I've had two friends that had bikes stolen in the past week, and then I also had one stolen on Saturday.

Things to do:

File a police report using 311.

Register with Chicago Stolen Bike Registry

Tell as many people as you can.

Print flyers and distribute them to bike shops.

Check the Bike Sellers groups on facebook.

Check Swap-O-Rama and Maxwell St. Market.

Yes, thanks. I've hit all of those nails on the head except the Swap-O-Rama. Feelin' that my chances are slim to none, but .05% of optimism remains.

What are the Bike Sellers groups on FB? I know about Chicago Bike Sellers (Southside), are there others? Thanks again.

I would add:

Set up a google alert to alert you if someone lists the bike on craigslist or elsewhere.

Set up a new e-mail account that forwards to one of your established accounts to use for communications about the bike.
