I tried to find the "happy thread" via search, but couldn't.  That's really where this post belongs...

While riding my usual route between South Loop and Andersonville today, two people complimented my bike.  The first was on Dearborn, as I was waiting on a red light in the PBL.  A boy about 11 years old, riding on a tourist bus, called out, "Nice bike, sir!"

Later, in Andersonville, a young mother nursing her baby told me that she was both an avid cyclist and an artist, and asked lots of questions about the bike.

It's always nice to meet people who appreciate bikes and know enough to talk about them.  So today's ride goes in the "happy" column.
