Any idea of the route coming in and going out?

Staying a close to the water as possible, using any waterfront trails that may be there! Any thoughts?

I am really new to regular bicycling, so have not ventured far from Chicago's Lakefront Trail.  The Chicago Cycling Club blog had this post a couple of weeks ago--perhaps it will be helpful.

There are lots of people on this forum who know a lot about the trails and paths into Chicago from Michigan and Indiana and out of Chicago to Wisconsin.  Maybe someone can help.

There is the Chicago Bike Map on line:  http://www.cityofchicago.org/cityinfo/cdot/bikemap/keymap.html

I hope to get over to Navy Pier on Friday.
