Bicyclist killed in Wheeling.

That stretch of road is pretty narrow and is one lane in each direction. My condolences go out to this guy's family.

This story has been on my mind a lot. That's a tricky area--not many north/south options for travel by bicycle. All too often the major arterials are the only viable option, especially if you work or live near one.

May 18 is the Ride of Silence, in remembrance of cyclists who have been killed or injured while bicycling on public roadways, to encourage bicycle safety, and to raise awareness of cyclists' right to share the road.
