Do you have a bicycling bucket list? The ultimate bike you would like to buy or build. Or maybe that epic ride or tour you've always talked about doing "some year" soon.

Share it here.

Cino Heroica (http://www.cinorider.com/cino-heroica/) or L'Eroica (http://www.eroicafan.it/en/). Or at least an extended bike tour of Tuscany...

Not having ridden RAGBRAI yet, that is first on the bucket list.  I also dream of cycling vacations in Italy and in France.  Looking forward to hearing from more folks to help expand my bucket list!

Hilly Billy Roubaix, RAGBRAI, TOSRV, Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic and maybe ride a good portion of WA State along the Columbia River, "Crush the Commonwealth" Hopefully all in the next few years. I'd like to at some point ride from San Diego up to the top of Alaska. I'd also like to eventually ride Northern Italy and Southern France. ACA Northern Tier through Glacier NP.

That Colorado Rockies ride looks great!

I want to do a tour of the Loire Valley in France.

I have a reverse bucket list.... did some great stuff a long time ago (complete circle around Arizona, SF and Seattle Critical Mass rides, 5 Boros Tour) and now don't have plans to ride any more than necessary to get from A to B from here on out.

Well, maybe except Warsaw Critical Mass....

I want a late 80's Yeti FRO in pristine condition. Still looking.

I'm still regretting passing up a Yet Road Project at the Madison swap a few years ago....

As far as others on the list, I'd like to try an Ottrott; a used one might be in the attainable category at some point.  If I won the lottery I don't play, I'd pay a visit to Dave Wages for a stainless Ellis.

Pretty much like the pictured bike, but painted main triangle and half seat stays, with polished lugs.

I'd like to spend a year(s?) riding around the UK on my Bob Jackson, working on farms in exchange for room and board.  Maybe continue on the continent until I got it out of my system.

You should look into "Travel with REI". They have a trip to Loire Valley.

I hope to take some of these trips in the near future. I'm traveling to Africa next summer for a bike trip.

I'm in the midst of fulfilling my bike bucket list. Wasn't sure where I wanted to go at first, and opted for a South America trip. Started in Colombia in June, and 3 months later I'm almost half-way in Peru. Hope to make it to Argentina (after Bolivia) in about 4 months. Lots of challenges, but it's a great way to travel if you have some change saved up and some time. It's quite affordable even as I'm not a huge fan of camping. $20-$25 a day will be enough for food, and a decent (private) room with wi-fi.

Ride the Divide, maybe...

Also, would like to take some time off and ride across America for all of my fellow Wounded Warriors. Don't know all the logistics, but you never know. I have a family to support.

Respectfully,

Manny

:O at MagMileMaurader's trip. Post more details at some point??

My dream is to bike ocean to ocean. :)

what a great thread. kudos to the OP for this one.

I don't have a formal bucket list per se; but here are a few of the things I have been able to

accomplish via bicycling in my XX years :

-deliver newspapers via bike (age 12-15) done

-buy a racing bike

-race

-RAGBRAI (2010 with "team team" from CL)

-50 mph (above : day 5)

-spend more time on the bike than sleeping (2006)

-SAGBRAW (twice)

-Bike in Europe (2012 - rode a 30 speed road bike all over tuscany; granny gears are NOT for grannys btw)

-own more bikes than I would ever need (in 2009 I had 5 or 6)

-have a bike stolen and not care (2009 : it was a bar bike; given to me by a friend. I only really wanted the lock and fender btw)
