Ha, funny. My friend lives there. He says almost everyone has two bikes. One cheap one that they lock with a cheap lock. This one is for the thieves to steal and throw in the canal. The other bike is their nice bike and they never lock it anywhere. It stays in the house except when they are riding it. They never leave it anywhere except in the house.

I caught that in a passing reference in another article last week (I think it was about New York) and didn't believe it until I watched the videos (seems to be a popular thing to upload).

I guess it's not so horrible if we can blame it on thieves (?)
