Become an Active Trans Bike Shop Ambassador!

Are you interested in representing the Active Transportation Alliance in your neighborhood bike shops? Active Trans is looking for volunteers who can commit to being a representative for 5-7 bike shops near their home or work. Representatives will be trained and expected to regularly visit their shops to keep owners and employees abreast of Active Trans advocacy efforts and campaigns.

Volunteers will also be responsible for distributing membership and event materials to their shops. So if you're an Active Trans member, have a passion for the mission and enjoy speaking with business owners and staff, please contact Kevin Dekkinga at kevin@activetrans.org. Be sure to indicate which neighborhoods or suburban communities you’d like to volunteer. We're looking for volunteers to cover shops throughout the Chicago region.
