When I rode up the Prairie Path through Wayne a week ago or so, I saw that they had planed the pavement on Army Trail down for re-paving.  When I rode up that way yesterday I saw that they had completed the paving, but had built up the road surface enough that it was several inches higher than the adjacent Prairie Path gravel parking lots on either side of where the trail crosses.

Anyone know if the project is still incomplete and they plan to pave "ramps" on either side of the road into the parking lots?  Or, if not, whose responsibility it would be to construct ramps like this, the county or the Prairie Path "authority" or the forest preserve?  Or how to petition such a request?

The way it is now makes crossing Army Trail difficult and a bit dangerous since you're competing with on-coming traffic while trying to negotiate the grade differential.
