About this event:

George Christensen’s lecture & slide-show will recount his month-long, solo, self-supported, wild-camping bicycle ride around the perimeter of Israel in February, 2008. Along the way he detoured into Egypt, swam in the four seas of Israel (the Med, the Dead, the Red and the Galilee), took a walk along the Via Dolorosa, joined Jerusalem's monthly Critical Mass bicycle ride and had a few encounters with the Israeli Defense Force.

George has been cyclo-touring for decades, spending a good part of the year traveling around the world on a bike.

All travel & cycling enthusiasts are welcome!

Unfortunately and/or fortunately I'll be in Israel (biking a little) in January. But George is great, I highly recommend going to see his slideshow, He will be putting it in the Chainlink calendar soon.
