The Chainlink

I waited too long for a reasonably priced train ticket-- wanted to go down for the Midwest Bicycle Expo and Swap Meet (no I'm not some sort of swap meet junkie-- some good friends are involved in organizing this and I wanted to be there for their big event).
If anyone was considering heading down and back I'd appreciate a ride and of course help with the cost. Need to be back Sunday night.

How far in advance?  As little as you feel comfortable with.  As long as the bus isn't moving your good.

I ended up booking travel to ride through the night (if you swing by to rob my house could you please water my plants?).  Any stats on which part of the bus is safest when the driver fall asleep?

I'm looking at the site and don't see anything-- is there a stated amount of time by which one is advised to arrive ahead of departure time?

Thanks, Jared. On track to get there about 30 minutes before departure, unless tenants call to tell me part of the roof is missing.
I don't have any experience with Megabus, but a friend of mine was stranded at a rest stop in Indiana for about nine hours after one broke down--she ended up hitching a ride home.

Well, now I have experience with Megabus . . .

Heather, I can entirely see how that could happen.  This is definitely not the "going above and beyond for the customer" style of entrepreneurship.
