Anyone do GITAP?
Hi Folks,
I see the GITAP dates and sites are listed for 2010 at http://bikelib.org/gitap/2010/index.htm.
I did Bicycle Illinois this year and I think I want to ride GITAP next year. I know I need to sign up early because it fills up fast. But I have a few questions... so here they are
Has anyone done it ? What's your opinion of the ride?
And I live car-less in Chicago, have you heard of folks carpooling to the start site?

You can ride to Freeport in one day if you take the Metra out to Harvard, (~60-80 miles). Just take the GIT route to get there.
