We're thinking of going down to check it out on Saturday.  Not quite sure what the Chicago rally will have (a few politicians and celebs and perhaps a broudcast of the Washington Rally), but its only 3 hours and it could be interesting.

i watch the daily show regularly. should i vote? also, i'm a graduate student. i read books and journal articles on urban studies and environmental studies. i read USA Today and the New York Times once in awhile. i'm 36 years old. i design houses occasionally. i like fixing things and putting IKEA furniture together. i have a passport. i like sweeping my old wood floors. should i vote? well, i did. i voted early.

i don't think getting a perspective of the news from comedians is wrong, especially when comedians are more honest than some media outlets. there's "truth in comedy"; "the truth hurts"; "behind every joke, there's some truth." truth in jokes make them funny or create something greater than the words. i found it very hard to tell a joke in another language unless you're fluent, which means that you have to have some knowledge behind what you say for it to be funny.

have fun at the rally, whether you vote or not.
