Saw this one on the Wisconsin Bike Fed blog:

Unlike other incidents I've seen reported, this one appears to involve people who likely knew each other. The two were coworkers, both working for WS Packaging Solutions in Algoma, WI.

I've just seen a report this morning about a cyclist in the Toronto area who was killed yesterday.  According to the report on Global Toronto, he was lane-splitting (I think they meant passing to the right of moving vehicles and to the left of parked cars), swerved to avoid a turning vehicle (right hook?), and collided with a parked car.  Of course they noted that he was wearing a helmet (they even showed a picture of the helmet, and the bike, with fork bent backwards).

Local news reports the victim as Fred Figueroa, age 49.

The woman killed in Cross Plains, WI on July 15 was identified as Cynthia Arsnow, of Madison.
