The Chainlink

I am looking for a 1/4" inch P-Clamp to mount a light to a rack-strut. I found them online, but shipping costs are prohibitive. I also stopped at the Crafty Beaver, but they did not carry them.

Any thought on where I can find these locally? Any bike shops stock  P-Clamps in 1/4"? This is an example of what I am looking for:

I picked up some 3/8"s last night at THD. They definitely are somewhat big, but with 2 layers of old tubing added, it sits very solid.
When I order again from VO I might order some smaller ones, but for now I am good.

I'd be surprised if there aren't a few in your desired size kicking around the bins and drawers at Westtown Bikes.

+1 to the friendly local auto stores.

If you can get a nice guy at the counter he might even let you wander up and down the aisles fondling the specialty fasteners and clamps that don't keep out on the front shelves.  There are a ton of them in back for specific auto needs -more than the generic ones you can find out front.  If you get a chance to dig through all the aisles you might find a part for an old '70 Beetle or an '83 Camero that is just the thing for what you want to clamp on your bike.  I know a girl online who does this all the time for custom clamps and stuff for her motorcycle.  Of course a cute girl has an easier time convincing the guys at the auto store to let her wander around the back digging for something odd from the shelves that might be exactly what she is looking for.  For me, it has always been hit-or-miss.  The auto shops up in Madison seemed to be much more friendly and permissive than the ones here in Chicago.
