When we talk about bicycle safety, too often the conversation revolves around what an individual cyclist can do to stay out of harm’s way.

But as we’ve seen with the recent boom in protected bike lanes, more and more cities are starting to address the ways improvements in infrastructure can also help to foster safe commutes.

Every little bit helps.  I think these safety measures will easily pay for themselves over the course of time.  

Anything to keep cyclists & peds from getting sucked into those rolling pins of death (tires) helps.
