58cm Trek XO-1 Cyclocross/Road/Urban bike for sale

Hey all, it pains me to let this great bike go. This was my first serious bike that I bought back in 2006 and have taken great care of it ever since. This is one of the last Trek's that were handmade in the USA, much higher quality than the Chinese frame made now. You really have to see it in person to appreciate it. The anodized finish looks great and will last much longer than standard paint. It is equip with a full Shimano 105 group set that works like a dream. This is labeled as a cyclocross bike and is a great commuter and all-around bike. The cantilever breaks will not get blocked with mud or snow like traditional brakes. I never did any cyclocross races, but this would do great in the upcoming season. For a while I rode it on limestone paths and commuted with the stock 700x32 tires, also included. Being a cyclocross bike, you can ride it anywhere compared to a road bike. For better road performance, there are 700x23 Forte Pro DC tires on there right now. I also upgraded the the seat to a Rav-X which is much more comfortable than the stock one. I have an aerobar set up (used it for a triathlon) on the bars at the moment with flip up arm rests that let you use the tops of the bars. If you don't want the aero bars I can take them off along with a few bucks off the price. Very fast bike and very light. Every component works like new and the bike rides incredibly smooth. This is a bike that you can ride for 20+ years. The only reason I am letting this bike go is because I have a commuter and conceded to the fact that I will never ride this off the road. As for sizing, this fit me from when I was 5'8" to 6' currently.  I can also include a set of Shimano SPD pedals with a platform on one side, handy for commuting. Will lube and adjust everything and replace handlebar tape before handing over this beauty.

$900 OBO
