It's the International Day of Climate Action (www.350.org). Are you observing? I'll be on the bike as usual, but with just a bit of extra juice in the legs.

If you want something to do today:
Chicago 350 International Climate Action Day bike ride
Hey Chicago, what's the most carbon neutral and efficient way for you to get around this city? By bicycle, of course.
This Saturday, starting at noon on October 24, we'll ride around Chicago, riding past as many of the other 350 action day events as possible. Bring signs, noise making devices, and as many bike riding friends as you can gather.

We'll meet at Daley Plaza, Dearborn & Washington, at noon on Saturday. Yes, for all of you who ride in the Chicago Critical Mass, this is the same meeting spot. Before we ride, we'll take a picture, which I'll upload onto 350.org after the event to be a part of the visual petitition to the world to get us back under 350 parts per million--the upper limit of safe amounts of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere.

There are a bunch of other activities happening tomorrow too.
Didn't get to the Fisk plant until after 3 due to prior obligations, but it would be interesting to brainstorm ideas for future, fun & constructive climate-awareness events.
