Is anyone currently planning the Perimeter Ride for this year? Anything I can do to help?

Sure, I'm down with that.

I like the way you think Kevin. I'll have to plan on Monday off that week.

Yes, but this date presents the opportunity for the rare Triple Crown of Chicago Cycling-Permieter Ride, Midnight Marauders, AND North Shore Century. No scheduling overlap. Two hundred twenty miles or so in 30 hours. Destined to be a modern classic!

Awesome news!  This is my favorite ride of the year!

Question is will it go to the brewery again?

Oh, sure! They have open house every Saturday, but I'll contact them about us in particular and a visit on a pre-ride, too.

First time I ever met any Chainlinkers for a ride, Tank Riding Ryan had gone straight from a Marauders Ride, home to eat an omelet (not sure how I remember that), and then straight to meet us to complete the 2008 North Shore Century.  He clocks his miles here.

Sounds interesting and I like rides that don't cost more money. Is this the place to get updates ??
Where did that 'g' come from and where's my hyphen? And thanks for reminding me of my love for the NSC route markings.

Someone (probably david) will create an event listing here and on fb.

Yes, staying in tonight to make a permanent event page for this and all future Perimeter Rides. I suck at graphics, though--anybody want to make a picture with an overhead shot of Buckingham Fountain overlaid with a bicycle wheel?

I call it "Bikingham Fountain"

Quick-n-Dirty, could use antialiasing on the spokes, but I'm not gonna fuss w/ it.
