2 MTBs (1 complete, 52ctc [sloped top-tube]; + 1 frame with stem,bars, 50ctc)

2 Vintage (mostly) Japanese ATBs:

1. Miyata Ridge Runner Team built mostly w/ Vintage Shimano components (triple-butted, splined chro-mo)

-Standover: 32"

-52cm ctc sloping top tube, ATB rims mismatched, but the SESansin hubset is matching.

-1 brake lever-mount has been cracked, and is in poor visual, but functional shape.

-Crank chain-ring-spider is not perfect, but creative use of washers has it aligned okay.

-Frame condition is around a "B-": I've noticed a miniscule ding on the t-t, and some paint cracking from stress, around the t-t - h-t - juncture. Therefore, I couldn't say it hasn't been crashed, as the evidence speaks to the contrary. However, I think there is still value there, because it rides well, and looks to be in proper alignment. There were some 'jingly janglies' in the frame, at a time, but I can't hear them anymore, after some vigorous efforts to exorcise those.

-Overhauled with Park Tool Co. Polylube 1000.

I personally trued the wheels, without the most advanced tools, so you may want to budget a professional wheel inspection/truing to make sure the tension is proper, if considering buying this.

$275

2. Panasonic Mountain Cat 4500 Frame (Tange double-butted chro-mo)

-Standover: approx. 31" when built as above

-50cm ctc including headset, stem, bars, and rear brake (not sure of the name of the type, which uses bosses like cantilevers, but which mounts farther away from the axle)

Condition: B+

$75

In my opinion, somewhat newly available products such as eccentric hubs, and eccentric bbs, if you're willing to ride Single Speed, have enhanced, and will continue to enhance, the value of such frames, which, I take it, appeal less to some because of geometry, ie. high bottom brackets, etc.

Let me know your thoughts, please. I figure, even if no one wants to buy them, at least I am informing people about what is out there... So, here's hoping I don't get blasted as that other guy did...

If you make an offer, the worst thing I will say is 'no'.

Finally, you and a friend-special: $325 for all of the above

Thanks!
