Doty: No, sorry, I don't have a trail map.  I was just going to follow you! :D LOL.  I can tell you for sure that if you are feeling lost, just get to Sheridan road and head north.  otherwise: North Shore Channel Trail to Green Bay Trail to Robert McClory Bike Path (formally known as the North Shore Bike Path) eventually that path crosses Sheridan, head north on Seridan until you reach the town of Zion and more specifically, Wadsworth Road.  Turn right on Wadsworth Road (thats turning towards the lake or going east), there will be a left turn into the camping area, you have to stop at a gate to get in and you can tell them that you are meeting a large group of cyclists from Chicago.  If you end up getting on Sheridan b4 the trail crosses it (i.e., you got lost and just found Sheridan road by asking for help), be wary of North Chicago... not a great place to be at night.  Last year we stopped at a Phillip 66 station for some water and they were dealing drugs out front and they wouldn't let ups in the store, but he gave us water through a cashier window with bulletproof glass.  Attached is a link to a map that Melanie (my Lady) made of the/a route.  I don't know if this is the way we will be going on that Saturday morning, but I know this will get you there.

Does anyone have a good route map?  I was thinking about trying the ride this week if the weather ever looks good for two days in a row.

Spreadsheets? Yikes...I figure a tent, sleeping bag and some food to sustain us on the ride. Maybe a change of clothes. My pannier is already normally packed with cycling tools and spare tube. I guess I will leave the planning to those people who are more organized than I am.

I'm sort of a "grab yo' shit and let's go" kinda girl rather than an planning one.  So, if there is any organization that needs tended to, please either grab the reins or alert my dense ass.  (I only say this because I recall spreadsheets and such from previous trips!)

Its only 3 miles from the campsite to New Glarus beer,  I might have to make a run after I set up camp.

Gosh, Shay!  I want to get more than half the way there!  But I guess it IS going to be a one night stand.  ;)
