Description

Massive event promoting the end of oil and the beauty of people.  Held globally with dozens of cities participating.  Bare-as-you-dare with outfits ranging from body paint to fanciful costumes to beachwear. Chicago's seen over two thousand cyclists and skaters and more tour over a dozen miles of high visibility tourism and recreation areas. The ride's atmosphere is extremely joyful and transcendently fun.  Bicycles are the best solution to reducing America's oil addiction and improving public health and we're spreading that message.  Read full details at ChicagoNakedRide.org/about

Tonight we embark on a 15 mile gas-free joyride to protest the dependency on fossil fuels and promote body positivity! The ride will not be cancelled for rain, so be prepared. Make sure to arrive early, we might get an early start tonight.

CYCLISTS & SKATERS: Check-in Saturday 6–7:45pm
W Hubbard St & N Carpenter St (southwest corner)

This is NOT where the ride launches, participants with bikes, skateboards, or in-lines will be forwarded to the rally location.

RIDE DEPARTS AT 7:45PM, DON’T BE LATE!
Rain or shine, so BE PREPARED for ANYTHING.

RIDE ENDS AROUND 11:30PM
We end where we start. There will be NO after party, but we’ll have fruit and water available to get people re-hydrated. We’ll have some time to decompress, connect with our friends, and plan where to go next.

PLAN TO ARRIVE EARLY!
The Rally is from 6 p.m. till we ride out. It is a great time to get pumped for the ride. There will be body painting, bike mechanics, the Glitter Guts Photobooth, and Yoga at 6:15 and 6:30.

We recommend you bring your Helmet, Lights, Water, Snacks, Shoes, and Clothes.

Likely viewing points: Boystown (Halsted) ~9:30pm. Wicker Park (six corners) ~10:30pm.
