For those who are interested we will stop at Sunnyday Tap for homemade bread, Serbian food, and cheers to a well-deserved beverage. Then finish back at Logan Square.

The Where The Wild Things Grow program encourages bicycle community involvement in ecological restoration throughout the Chicagoland regional trail network. A partnership between the Out Our Front Door Organization and Habitat2030 to assist local organizations and local land stewards to restore and maintain native habitats in the Lower Lake Michigan Basin Area by bike. Join us to create native corridors that lead to natural open lands.

We will join the North Branch Restoration Project and Centennial Volunteers to restore this unique woodland, savanna, and floodplain to its former beauty by bike! "This site is new to restoration and will depend on the community of volunteers to remove invasive species collect and distribute native seeds, and reduce erosion issues and much more." -NBRP

Tools & Gloves are provided, please bring a water bottle, bike lock, and clothing for the woods.
