Cyclists who like food, sustainability, and fun, read on.
Waste. We all make it. But is your garbage doomed for the dump? No way! Come learn how to turn your kitchen cuttings into compost, right here in the city.
Participants will enjoy a scavenger hunt and some delicious home-grown snacks while walking through the steps of creating a compost system, from bins to vegetable beds. Learn the tools you’ll need to get started and see a live Earthmachine in action.
This hands-on class takes place in a garden, so roll up your sleeves and prepare to play in the dirt.
Bike parking is available on a residential street.
