UPAF’s Ride for the Arts, sponsored by Miller Lite is the annual signature fundraising event for the United Performing Arts Fund. Since its inception in 1981, 263,000 riding participants, thousands of volunteers and hundreds of sponsors have helped raise more than $7.3 million for the performing arts in SE Wisconsin.
When – Sunday, June 3, 2012
Where – The Ride begins and finishes at the Summerfest grounds with five different routes ranging from 5-miles to 75-miles. The Finish Line Party at the Briggs & Stratton Big Backyard Stage features free admission, live entertainment, an Instrument Petting Zoo for the kids and much, much more!
Who – Ride as an individual or create your own team. Ride with your family and friends. Not a rider? Volunteers are always welcome with opportunities open year-round.
Why – Because it’s fun! Because supporting the arts is as easy as riding a bike!
Registration opens March 1, 2012. For more information, you can log onto www.upafride.org or call 414-276-RIDE. Visit us at the Wheel & Sprocket Expo at State Fair Park April 5-7. Questions? Call Beth Berdes, Special Events Director at UPAF – 414-270-4492.
