Description

An enjoyable one day ride in Kankakee County along two scenic Illinois rivers! Kankakee County boasts both the Kankakee and the Iroquois River, each a treat to see on our many riverside roads.

On the ride, you’ll see not only our two rivers, but downtown Kankakee, Kankakee Community College, The Shapiro Clock Tower, Barn Quilts, two Frank Lloyd Wright homes,  "border town" Momence and its “Island Park”, buffalo, Watseka, one of the oldest and largest wood frame churches in Illinois, corn and beans, and more!

By far one of the best centuries I have completed. The roads are CLEARLY marked, the routes are scenic, the volunteers are WONDERFUL, and every stop had delicious food. There were never dull moments of just grinding away. Even in the corn field portions, this route was scenic! I would recommend it to anyone. The best part was the numbers were low because of its infancy. Clear open roads to yourself were priceless. Although SAG wagons were wonderful to track all riders on the routes and provide water near the peak hours of the day if needed.
