Touring Through Time: Local Native History Lecture & Bike Excursion

Fee: $10/members & $12/non-member

On Sunday, September 30 the Mitchell welcomes visitors to enjoy a lecture on local American Indian history and a bike tour to visit historical sites in the Evanston and Wilmette area. The lecture will be led at 1:30 PM by Dr. Clay Skinner, local historian, and focus on the history of the various Native peoples who lived in Illinois both before and after European contact. The bike tour will follow and explore several important Native sites in the surrounding area. Participants will meet back at the museum for refreshments.
