Tour de Brew 2012

Hello All,

I think you're going to like this. On June 30th we're putting together a bike ride that will make stops at 6 breweries and brewpubs in Chicago. We're starting at 10am and have our final stop at 5pm (my backyard). Each stop will include a quick tour and a few samples.

Why do this? We need to raise some money for an amazing Chicago Public School called the Academy for Global Citizenship. It's near Midway airport and serves a diverse, multi-lingual student body that is 80% low-income. The school offers them organic breakfast and lunch, solar panels, wind turbines, worm bins in every class, yoga, and they even harvest eggs from their own chicken coop. AND, the kids outpace their CPS counterparts in most academic areas. Learn more about the school here

So, let's get on our bikes, cruise around town and taste some amazing beers. And remember, this isn't for us...it's for the kids!
