Description

Still sugar crashing from our last bake sale? Don’t despair; this Sunday (October 13th), we’re holding another bake sale at The Bike Lane bike shop (2130 N. Milwaukee Ave, Chicago).  We’ll have vegan, non-vegan, gluten-free, and savory options.

We’ll be using the money to partner with Josh Zisson, a bicycle lawyer and blogger, and an expert in bicycle law and bicyclists rights, to print a version of the Bicyclist's Accident Report for Chicago cyclists.

More about the project:

It’s altogether too common for a crash victim to be confused, shaken up, and generally not in the right state of mind to gather all of the information needed after a crash. Josh’s project, the Bicyclist’s Accident Report, is a wallet-size folded business card which ensures that a cyclist obtains all of the important information at the scene of a crash, which is necessary to build a case or make an insurance claim.  In addition, the cards have a guide to local bicycle laws (which vary state to state) on the back side.

Tiny Fix is raising funds to sponsor a batch of Illinois specific cards for the Chicagoland area. Any additional funds will go back into the Tiny Fix operating budget to bring you bigger and better alleycats, more insightful and entertaining writing about cycling and partying, and maybe even some branded merchandise in the future.

Please RSVP to the Facebook event and put the bake sale in your calendar! We’ll be at the Bike Lane all day and we’d love to meet you.

And visit us at tinyfixbikegang.com.
