Description

We will ride, dance, drink, and ride some more! We will celebrate life! We will cheer up strangers! We will annoy drivers (this is not a goal, but rather an inevitable result of riding en masse!)! We will shake what our mothers did give us! We will not judge you for having no rhythm! We will judge you for doing the Stanky Legg! We will also secretly wish *we* could do the Stanky Legg!

Don't tell me you aren't excited.

And plan on it going a good deal later than 11:45pm! We're starting at Empire, then dancing our way to Latebar for 80's new wave, then winding up at Hideout (the only place with a cover ($5)).

Whew! Oh man, I would actually be horribly disappointed if somebody else had made up that word before me.

( This is gettin' to be too fun ! ) - I just did a Google search on Russokineticology -
interesting result !

Trust me, you guys are going to start seeing russokinetic influences EVERYWHERE now. It's really amazing how overlooked these connections were for so long.

That's it ! We've figured it out! ( Or actually, we now know how MC Hammer
originally figured out his look . .) http://www.inthe80s.com/clothes/mchammerpants0.shtml

Russokineticology may also be responsible for the HammerTime dance, a last attempt of the Soviets to infiltrate American culture

It indeed is- good eye! Yes, in certain circles it is now widely accepted- yet poorly documented- that the Russian military is wholly responsible for a large number of contemporary dance trends. Perhaps most famously the Electric Slide, after its inception in 1976 caused little stir, found a renewed and fervent popularity in the late 1980's which instigated the first wave of academic research that has since developed into the highly respected and rapidly growing field of russokineticology.
