Yes, The Night Owl is Back for 2019, on Saturday, August 3, at 10pm. 

Proceeds from the Night Owl ride will benefit land preservation in McHenry County through The Land Conservancy of McHenry County. The ride also promotes bicycling as an alternate means of transportation and exercise within the City of Crystal Lake.  

When: Saturday, Aug. 3, 2019 at 10:00 p.m.
Where: Crystal Lake City Hall, 100 W. Woodstock St. Crystal Lake, IL 
Cost: $15 (adults and children) until Aug. 1, $20 onsite at the ride
Night Owl Ride t-shirts (optional) will be available for $15 each

The Night Owl ride is limited to 500 riders, so sign up early! Any rider 18 years and under must be accompanied by an adult throughout the ride. The safety of Night Owl participants is of primary importance. The route is on public streets and must be shared with motor vehicles during evening hours. We require all riders to wear helmets, have lights on your bicycle and ride no more then two abreast. The Crystal Lake Police Department also reminds us to obey all traffic laws. This is not a race, but a ride!  The Crystal Lake Police Department bike patrol will ride along with us to ensure a safe and fun ride for all participants.
