Come thaw out your balaclava by the fire. This month's Bar Night is hosted by the nice folks at Uncommon Ground, who are providing us a cozy room and a generous round of free appetizers. (Come early. You know your fellow cyclists are hungry.)

The bar has a sweet selection of regional craft beers and the kitchen is committed to great food that is locally-grown.

Uncommon Ground is gaining national recognition for its innovative pursuit of sustainability and wants to support Chicagoland's cycling community too. (Look out for The Chainlink's Ride to the Rooftop next summer for an exclusive tour of their elevated veggie garden.)

Also on hand at January's Bar Night will be friends of The Chainlink from Zipcar, happy to chat with you about car-sharing. Raise a glass if the bike/transit/car-share combo is helping you live car-free in the city. Cheers!

The Chainlink Bar Night converges on the third Thursday of every month. Come to talk bike, find riding partners, and this month, get psyched for Winter Bike to Work Day the very next day.
