Team Garmin's Christian Vande Velde to meet fans at Chicago store Dec. 29

Last year, the line snaked through the Chicago store - past the fitness, automotive and motorcycle devices, all the way out to Michigan Avenue - as people flocked to meet their fellow Windy City native and Team Garmin pro cyclist, Christian Vande Velde. We have great news for everyone -- he's excited to do it all again. On Wednesday, Dec. 29, from 5-6 p.m., Christian will meet his fans in the second-floor auditorium where he will discuss (and take questions about) life on the pro cycling tour, his consecutive top-8 finishes in the Tour de France, how he uses his Garmin Edge in training and racing, his goals for this year and the rest of the 2011 Garmin-Cervélo squad. Following this candid conversation, Christian will sign autographs and snap pictures for the fans in attendance. Keep in mind that last year was a packed house, so come early, save your spot and shop around the only place to see all of Garmin's various products in one spot. See you there!
