This tour is one of discovery. Led by our local sustainable visionary, Latrice Williams, we’ll follow some well-traveled paths and go off the beaten ones. Riders will learn to identify an abundance of wild fruit and herbs that thrive in the micro-climate of the South Side and receive recipes to take their finds back into the kitchen.
Rides start and end at the Bronzeville Community Garden at 51st and Calumet.
Stop by the Bronzeville BikeBox before or after the ride, across the street from the Garden! We will be selling refurbished bikes every Sunday from 2-7p.
