The first 60 miles will be a loop north of Kenton, circling the Sturgeon River Gorge Wilderness Area. Imperial racers will loop back through Kenton and complete a loop south of town. Surfaces will range from pavement, to rocky two tracks, to sandy roads, to wet clay and probably everything in between- including miles and miles of impeccably maintained gravel forest highways. Who?
Adventure minded bicyclists of all abilities.  Go for the glory of the podium or just the satisfaction of having completed a tough ride. Either way, enjoy some great riding in an area that not many people usually ride.

Wait, what's this self supported business all about?
After we wave you off the start line, you are on your own. No aid stations. No SAG wagons. No sweeps. It's you and whatever you bring with you that will get you down the course. Unplanned aid is allowed from other competitors and the general public, but don't count on seeing much of either- this area is fairly remote. Imperial riders may resupply in Kenton at their vehicles or any of the local businesses.
